Navigating Relevic’s Campaign Canvas

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview:

The Campaign Canvas is where you design and manage your website’s personalization campaigns. Relevic’s intuitive, drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to create campaigns tailored to specific audiences. This guide will walk you through the core elements of the Campaign Canvas and how to use them effectively to achieve your marketing goals.

Core Elements of the Campaign Canvas:

Campaign Canvas:

At the center of the Campaign Canvas, you’ll find a basic card where you can enter the name of your campaign and set the start and end dates. This is useful when managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring each campaign is active during the correct timeframe.

Example: If you're planning a winter clearance sale, you can schedule a campaign to run from December 1 to January 31 and include personalized banners promoting the sale to different customer segments.

Using Audience Filters:

On the top left of the Campaign Canvas panel, you can drag-and-drop audience filters to define who will see the personalized content. Relevic offers abundant filters for visitor behavior (e.g., first-time visitors), UTM parameters (e.g., email campaign clicks), location, and more.

Pro Tip: Combine filters for highly specific targeting. For example, target users who visited your pricing page more than three times and are located in the U.K., offering them a personalized demo invitation.

Using Personalized Pages:

Once you‘ve defined your audience, you can head over to “Personalized Pages,” which is right beneath the audience filters. Here, you can either drag and drop your existing pages onto the campaign card or create one from scratch by clicking “New Page.”

Relevic’s visual editor lets you customize headlines, images, CTAs, and interactive widgets, as well as restructure divs or remove unnecessary sections to optimize the experience for different users.

Example: For a clothing retailer, you can create different versions of your homepage: one promoting men's winter apparel for returning male visitors and another showcasing the latest women's collection for new female visitors.

Using the Drag-and-Drop Canvas:

With the Campaign Canvas, you can effortlessly manage content, page variations, and audience filters without requiring any coding knowledge. You can quickly preview how changes will appear on your website and ensure everything is set up correctly.

Example: A tech company might create multiple page variations for different product categories and drag them into their campaign, targeting users based on the product pages they’ve previously visited.

Publishing and Monitoring Your Campaign:

After setting up your campaign, click “Publish” to go live. You can monitor the performance of your campaigns via Relevic’s Analytics section, tracking metrics like visitor engagement, click-through rates, and conversions.
