Overview:
Setting up a personalization campaign with Relevic is straightforward and doesn’t require any technical expertise. In this guide, we’ll show you how to define a target audience, create page variations, and publish your first campaign. Personalization campaigns are key to showing the right content to the right people at the right time, whether it’s tailored messaging for first-time visitors or a returning customer who needs that final nudge to convert.
Steps to Set Up Your First Personalization Campaign:
Access the Campaign Canvas:
Log in to your Relevic dashboard and click on the “Campaigns” section. From there, click “Create New Campaign” to enter the Campaign Canvas, where you will build and manage your campaign.
Pro Tip: Start small by creating a single campaign targeting one specific audience segment (e.g., new visitors), then gradually scale as you become more comfortable with the platform.
Define Your Campaign Details:
Once the campaign canvas loads, you’ll see the campaign card in the center. From here, you can name your campaign and set the start and end dates.
Example 1: If you're launching a promotion tied to a seasonal event like Black Friday, you might name the campaign "Black Friday Special" and schedule it to run from November 23 to November 30.
Example 2: For a summer sale campaign, set a campaign that runs from June to August with personalized banners highlighting the sale across different regions.
Audience Filters:
Use Relevic’s powerful filters to target specific audience segments.
Example 1: You can target new visitors, returning visitors, users who clicked through a specific email campaign, or those coming from specific geographic locations.
Example 2: For a "First-Time Visitor" campaign, use the "First Visit" filter to show a welcome message along with a 10% discount for users landing on your site for the first time.
Create Personalized Pages:
There are two ways to create your personalized pages:
Creating a personalized page by heading over to the Personalized Pages section on Relevic’s dashboard
Drag-and-dropping the “New Page” option provided inside the Campaign Canvas
Example: If you're running a product launch campaign, create two variations of your homepage: one that highlights the product with a discount and another focusing on product features for customers who need more convincing.
Publish Your Campaign:
Once your campaign is ready, click “Publish” to make it live. The personalized content will be displayed to the specified audience segments based on the filters you’ve applied.
Pro Tip: Always preview the campaign to ensure everything looks great across different devices and browsers before going live.
